Philip Prowse was co-director of the Glasgow Citizens' Theatre from 1970 to 2003. He has directed opera and designed for ballet both at home and abroad.
Philip Prowse designed the set and costumes for the Birmingham Royal Ballet productions of SWAN LAKE and THE SLEEPING BEAUTY by Peter Wright and CARMINA BURANA and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST by David Bintley.
