Sarah Fahie makes narrative based physical theatre and opera pieces working with both music and spoken text. She was born in Australia and studied at the University of Melbourne. She went on to train as a dancer at the London Contemporary Dance School. In 2003 she received a Jerwood Foundation Choreography Award.
Directing and Associate Directing credits include: Giant for Aldeburgh; Rumpelstiltskin (Birmingham Contemporary Music Group); La Damnation de Faust (Glyndebourne).

Sarah’s credits as revival director include Der Rosenkavalier and.Falstaff for Glyndebourne; Rumpelstiltskin for Birmingham Contemporary Music Group; and Il tabarro and Suor Angelica for the Royal Opera House. And choreographer for numerous opera productions for the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
